To worship God is a great thing, the most important thing to which we can give ourselves. Our parish has two centres of worship each Sunday, St Francis Church and Someries. each providing a variety of worship styles to help us in that task As with all groups of people, those within the church have varying tastes, the patterns of service reflect that. We trust that each service will be a helpful means for as many as possible to worship God to deepen our understanding. and to discover His life and way. Within that sometimes we lean to the formal, sometimes to the less formal, sometimes to the more reflective, and sometimes to the more exuberant Whether you have been going to church for a lifetime, or have never been before, we hope the services are helpful and interesting. They are led in an ‘easy to follow’, unstuffy way, and we are used to newcomers, but ALL our services seek to reflect our desire to meet with God. We hope you will enjoy worshipping with us, whether at St. Francis or at Someries, and will be able to discover God in a deeper way.
