Thanks from Mike... go to everybody who helped make the Memorial Service the special occasion it was. Everyone I spoke to commented on the wonderful welcome, the great hymn choice, and the fabulous catering that showed our love in such a practical way. n was very much appreciated! The same was true of our 'Getting to Know You' evening on Wednesday. Again, so many people commented on the care and preparation that had gone into the programme and refreshments, and all that was done was a wonderful witness in itself! All that you do is a real blessing and such an encouragement to me.

Thank you.

Stewardship Envelopes... Do pick up a stewardship leaflet if you have not had one. They need to be returned on Sunday 23rd, so make sure you have filled them in by then.

David Gunn... is .returning to the Philippines on November 17th. News letter for Hands of Mercy are always on the back table and there are always needs for sponsoring a child. See Pat Wilson for more details.

Many Thanks from the Hands of Mercy team... for the generous gift from the Harvest Offering from St. Francis church. These are used to help the needy people in the squatter communities through the various programmes they run. The Filipino people are very grateful for the support they receive from your church.

Love in a Box... Will be collected on Tuesday 18th.. So still a chance to get late boxes in!
