Reading the Gospel of John
Reading the Bible can often be a joy and sometimes a chore! We as a church want to dedicate this Lent to reading the whole of the Gospel of John. By reading it together we can be accountable to how much we have (or need to) read, we can encourage each other when it might be a bit difficult and rejoice when we have completed the week's target. You can read it, listen to it, watch it, whatever helps you get in to the Gospel of John.

Evenings in Church
As well as reading John we have planned two specific evenings at 7.30pm in church; one devoted to reading the bible some more and one for a gathering to pray.
Thursday 14th March - Paul's Letter to the Philippians
We’ll be reading our way through all of Paul’s letter to the Philippians with as many as want to taking it in turns to read - just volunteer on
the night! We’ll spend a bit of time afterwards talking about the experience of hearing the letter read out as it would have been for the Philippians.
Thursday 4th April - Prayer
We’ll be spending an hour or so in prayer. We’ll set up a number of different stations with different activities to aid in praying. We’ll be praying for the life, vision and outreach of our church.
